We Capture the Feeling

Take Two Wedding began with a simple realisation: the little moments we sometimes take for granted become the memories we treasure most.

My journey into photography started when my daughter was a baby, photographing for children's magazines. As she grew, I began to understand just how precious those fleeting moments were, and how a photograph could bring them back long after they had passed.

That belief eventually brought me to weddings, where family, friendship and emotion come together in a way that is entirely unique to each couple.

Today, together with Iri, we photograph weddings with a documentary heart and an editorial eye. We take time to understand your story, notice the moments unfolding around you and create photographs that feel honest, thoughtful and full of life.

We know you want beautiful photographs, but you also want to enjoy your wedding with the people you love. That's why we believe in gentle guidance when you need it, and the freedom to simply be yourselves the rest of the time.

From the big moments to the little things you might not even notice, we're here to preserve the feeling of your day without turning it into a photoshoot.

All of it real. All of it authentic. All of it you.

THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND OUR

DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Every wedding has its own rhythm, atmosphere and personality. We don't believe in making every wedding look the same.

Our approach is documentary at heart and editorial in eye. We observe quietly, anticipate the moments and look for the light, composition, movement and details that make each story visually distinctive.

We value what is real, find beauty in the unexpected and photograph with intention.

The result is a collection of photographs that feels natural yet considered, artistic yet honest. Images that bring you back to the people, the atmosphere and the feeling of being there.

Real Moments. Thoughtfully Told.

No two weddings are ever quite the same. Different people, different places, different atmospheres. That's what makes telling each story so special.

From intimate celebrations to lively gatherings filled with family and friends, we love capturing the things that make a wedding unmistakably yours.

Every Wedding Has a Story. Here's How They Feel.

who i am

The person behind the camera.

I'm Chu Chu, the lead creative behind Take Two.

My photography journey began in children's fashion magazine photography. It taught me to see things creatively, work with light and composition, and look beyond what's immediately in front of the camera.

But over time, I found myself drawn to something more personal: people and their stories.

Wedding photography had always been a dream of mine. I love the thought that a photograph can take you back to a moment, allowing you to feel the excitement, happiness and emotion all over again.

What I enjoy most is capturing the connection between two people, the closeness of family and friends, and all the unexpected moments that make a wedding unique.

For me, photography is also a way to connect with different cultures and people. Every couple brings a different story, and I'm always grateful to be invited into such a personal part of their lives.

When I'm not behind the camera, my husband, family and friends are at the heart of my world. I'm incredibly grateful for their love and support.

You'll usually find me exploring Manchester's Northern Quarter, Castlefield or MediaCity, spending time with my family or discovering somewhere new for a walk.

I'm also very happy with a lovely cup of tea and a piece of cake. So if you know a good spot, please send it my way!

Hi, Iri here

Meet Iri – part of at Take Two Wedding Photography team member.

As Take Two Wedding Photography continues to grow, we're excited to introduce Iri, our trusted wedding photographer.

Iri shares the same relaxed, documentary-led approach that Take Two is known for. Her passion is capturing genuine emotions, natural moments. Like us, Iri believes the best photographs happen when couples feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Rather than directing every moment, she creates a calm and enjoyable experience, allowing you to simply be yourselves while we documents your day naturally, authentic, elegant and full of emotion.

Iri isn't just an amazing photographer, she genuinely cares about the people she photographs. Her warm personality helps couples feel relaxed and confident, allowing real moments to unfold naturally.

Our Mission

To tell your story honestly, and help you feel every moment again.

"We believe the best wedding photographs come from genuine connection, not perfect poses.

Our mission is to create photographs that bring you back to the feeling of your wedding day. The people, the atmosphere, the unexpected moments and all the little things you might not have noticed at the time.

More than creating beautiful images, we want to give you the freedom to be present, knowing your story is being captured with care, creativity and intention."

This makes your mission about something deeper than simply taking beautiful photographs.

Our Purpose

To capture not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt to be there.

We believe the most meaningful photographs aren't always the ones that are perfectly planned. They're the moments that happen naturally. The laughter you share with your favourite people, the quiet glances, the unexpected embraces and the little things you might not even notice on the day.

At Take Two, our purpose is to tell your story honestly, with creativity, care and intention. We want to create photographs that feel personal to you, rather than following trends or fitting your wedding into a formula.

But it goes beyond the photographs. We want you to feel comfortable, understood and free to enjoy every part of your day, without feeling like you're constantly being photographed.

Because years from now, we hope your photographs do more than remind you what happened. We hope they bring you right back to the people, the atmosphere and the feeling of being there.
